Infrared or Traditional?

One of the most common questions is whether to choose a traditional steam sauna or a carbon panel infrared sauna.

  • Traditional Sauna (Steam Sauna)

This is the classic sauna experience, heating stones and pouring water over them to create steam. Temperatures can reach up to 80°C, providing intense sweating, muscle relaxation, and an authentic Finnish-style ritual. If you love the feeling of hot steam and a powerful detox, this is the right choice. Keep in mind, however, that traditional saunas need a longer preheat time (about 25–30 minutes) and require regular cleaning due to the humid environment.

  • Carbon Panel Sauna (Infrared)

Carbon panel heaters use far-infrared rays at lower temperatures, usually 50–60°C. They heat more slowly but evenly and efficiently, with lower energy consumption. Instead of heating the air, they gently warm your body directly, penetrating deeper into the tissues. Carbon panel saunas create a dry, comfortable environment, which means less cleaning and easier maintenance.

👉 Conclusion:

  • If you want the classic, hot, and steamy Finnish sauna, choose Traditional Sauna.
  • If you prefer gentle, energy-efficient, and easy-to-maintain daily use, choose Carbon Panel Sauna.

Do You Need Full Spectrum?

You may have noticed some saunas come with a Full Spectrum Infrared option. What’s the difference?

  • Carbon Panel Heating works mainly in the far-infrared range (6–14 micrometers), which closely matches the body’s natural radiation wavelength and is easily absorbed. It provides gentle, consistent heat that’s great for regular wellness use.
  • Full Spectrum Heating includes near, mid, and far-infrared:

Near Infrared (0.76–1.4 μm): Strong penetration, stimulates circulation and skin cell repair.

Mid Infrared (1.4–3 μm): Targets muscles and joints, helping relieve stiffness and soreness.

Far Infrared (3–1000 μm): Promotes detoxification, deep relaxation, and immune support.

👉 Conclusion:

  • For everyday relaxation and simple sweat therapy, Carbon Panel is enough.
  • If you want deeper therapeutic benefits—circulation, detox, and skin rejuvenation—Full Spectrum is the best upgrade.

The safety and health of customers are our top priority. That’s why we carefully selected the materials and ensured they didn’t contain any toxic or harmful ingredients. We use Canadian Hemlock Wood for our indoor infrared sauna range and it’s the material widely used in the industry. As for the glue, we used the glue that passed all the tests of free formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene content and VOC.

Our sauna also undergoes strict testing procedures and passed several certifications including SAA, TUV, ETL and CE. More information about the certification can be found here.

Sauna Placemeng

Most AureviaSaunas models are designed for indoor use, meaning you can place them anywhere in your home—such as the bathroom, relaxation room, living room, or any other space you prefer.

For those who want an outdoor experience, we recommend choosing our special outdoor series, which are purpose-built with weather protection. If you decide to move an indoor model outdoors, please ensure:

  • The sauna is placed on a flat, stable surface—uneven ground can create safety risks.
  • There is a cover or shelter above the sauna, since our indoor models are not designed to withstand rain, wind, or long-term direct sunlight.

By following these guidelines, you can enjoy your sauna safely and extend its lifespan, whether you place it indoors or outdoors.

Our Warranty

The sauna is covered by a three (3) year warranty, which includes both parts and labor. During this period, any manufacturing defects or operational faults will be repaired or replaced at no additional cost to the purchaser.

Upon expiry of the initial warranty period, repair and replacement services will continue to be available. Such services will be provided strictly at cost price, without profit margins or additional service charges beyond the actual expenses incurred.

The supplier guarantees the availability of all necessary replacement parts for a minimum of seven (7) years from the date of purchase. This ensures that maintenance and repair of the sauna can be conducted without risk of discontinued components.

Lifetime technical support is included as part of the after-sales service. The supplier will assist customers by coordinating with professional technicians within Australia, ensuring that qualified assistance is accessible whenever required.
